Google calendar for the web now has the same stylish colour palette and sleek look the mobile application has. It also has a responsive layout that auto-adjusts to your screen size and more features for businesses to help teams easily schedule and prepare for meetings. What other cool features are there?
You can now see and enter details about a conference room or your organizations meeting rooms. Your employees can now see details such as; where a conference room is located, how large it is, if it has audio/video equipment or if it is wheelchair accessible.
You can also add plush formatting and hyperlinks to your Calendar invites and even link it to relevant spreadsheets, documents or presentations. These documents can be opened from the new “Event Detail” view.
You can even manage multiple calendars in different columns. This feature enables personal assistants or employees who manage multiple calendars, to schedule meetings on behalf of their teams. All you need to do is Click “Day” view and select the calendars you want to compare.
When you hover over the names of meeting participants in a Calendar invite, you can see their contact information. You and your team can manage their time more efficiently and get more work done in less time, using the new features. G-Suite admins can enable these new updates starting today.
