cPanel

As new emerging technologies pop up regularly globally, services offered and the way companies conduct business and their processes change. cPanel, the company who has the lion’s share for the popular website hosting easy to use control panel which you know WhoGoHost uses, recently made a shocking announcement as regards cPanel licensing price which moved the entire web hosting industry globally.

How the cPanel Price Hike Affects You

Until now, web hosting providers like us buy Licenses for CPanel per server and this allowed us to have unlimited cPanel accounts on one (1) server. However, cPanel has now changed its pricing model for licensing cPanel from a “per Server” basis to a “per Hosting Account” basis and this has caused our cPanel Licensing cost to drastically increase by 536%.

What We Will Do

It is our duty to provide you with the highest quality of service and also make sure that our prices are as low as possible. However, in light of this and in order to continue providing you with the best service you deserve, we will be forced to increase the cost of some of our products/services, especially those which are directly related to cPanel License. Be rest assured that we are doing everything possible to minimize the impact on you, our client and to make sure our service quality does not diminish.

It’s Not Just You

This price change will not only affect you but all hosting related services; (Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Cloud Hosting, Local Hosting, Virtual Server, etc) including new, renewal orders, current and past product promotions. If an invoice has however been generated with the old price before that date, you can proceed to pay the cost on that invoice.
