It is another month and as it is our tradition, we get to introduce our employee of the month. We would love to introduce you to our employee of the month for the month of May —Miriam David. Miriam is a member of the Growth team and works with Whogohost as the digital marketing executive. We had a sit down with her and asked her a few questions. Congratulations Miriam. How does it feel to be voted as the employee of the month?

It feels fantastic. It also makes me appreciate my work more because it means that the work I do here at Whogohost does not go unnoticed by my colleagues and bosses.

How did you hear about Whogohost and how long have you been here?

I first heard about Whogohost from a friend who had a friend that worked here at the time, I applied for the role of a receptionist which I got. I have been here for two years and counting.

What do you like about working at Whogohost?

I like that this organization provides you with the ability to grow professionally. The management believes that people can be better versions of themselves and push each staff towards maximizing their potential. The people are amazing. Fun and loving all round.

Who or what inspires you?

The woman I want to become. I envision her every day and she inspires me to be better.

How would you describe your job to a child?

I would tell the child that I help businesses reach customers online using tools people normally use to have fun.

If you could visit five places in the world, where would you visit?

The top five places on my list to visit are definitely the Yankari game reserve, Nepal, Mauritius, Zanzibar, and Dubai.

What are you passionate about?

Nigeria. There is so much this nation can be and I hope to be among the people that will help shape this nation into a nation every Nigerian will be proud of.

What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?

Myself. I am constantly working on being a better version of who I am.

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?

Alexandra Andresen. I want to know what it feels like to be the youngest, richest woman in the world.

If you had to choose, would you rather have rice or swallow (eba, semo, fufu etc )every day of your life?

Ah! Rice ke? Please give me swallow anytime, any day.

What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?

Acting. I used to act a lot but haven’t for a long while now.

If you were a crayon, what color would you be and why?

Orange. I would love to make everyone’s life bright and happy.

What advice do you have for new or intending staff at Whogohost?

Believe in yourself. Work smart and hard and you will grow quickly at Whogohost.
